The government is currently taking submissions in response to a proposed new/reformed waste management strategy. The consultation period for this submission is open until the 10th of December 2021.

How you can have your say:

1. Para Kore is currently developing a joint submission advocating for a Tiriti-based and Te Ao Māori informed waste management strategy. Para Kore is seeking to lead this submission collectively with iwi, hapū, individuals, and Māori rōpū. We will distribute the finished submission at the end of the week for rōpū who would like to endorse it, to add their names.
   
   
2. Para Kore also encourages iwi, hapū, individuals, and Māori rōpū to make their own submissions on the proposed strategy. Increasing the number of individual submissions that champion a Māori worldview is a powerful way to amplify Māori voices within the consultation process.
